Structure
A research article should normally contain: Title; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Review of Literature/Context; Objectives or Research Questions; Methodology/Approach (where relevant); Analysis/Discussion; Findings; Conclusion; Acknowledgements (after acceptance); Funding; Conflict of Interest; Data Availability/Ethics statements where applicable; References.
Humanities articles may use discipline-appropriate structures rather than an imposed IMRaD format, provided the argument, sources and method are clear.
Citation style
Recommended house policy: APA 7th edition for Social Sciences and interdisciplinary empirical work. MLA 9th edition may be accepted for Literature/Language/Humanities where disciplinary convention strongly favours MLA. A manuscript must use one recognised style consistently. The final journal website should state the accepted styles clearly and the production team should standardise each article before publication.
● Every in-text citation must correspond to a reference-list entry and vice versa.
● Include DOI in URL form where available.
● Use reliable editions and complete bibliographic information.
● Do not cite fabricated, unverifiable or AI-invented references.
● Primary sources should be cited from identifiable editions/archives.
