Copyright Policy
Copyright, Open Access and Licensing
Recommended policy for a new open-access journal: authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with articles distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. CC BY permits sharing and adaptation, including commercial reuse, provided appropriate attribution is given. IMPORTANT: The Editorial/Patron body must formally approve the chosen licence before this text goes live. If a more restrictive licence is preferred, obtain appropriate legal/publishing advice and state it clearly. The licence must appear on the website and on every article PDF/HTML.
● State who holds copyright
● State the exact Creative Commons licence and link to its canonical page.
● State authors’ self-archiving rights for submitted, accepted and published versions.
● State the policy for third-party images/material that are not covered by the article licence.
